The city of towers made this morning light feel extra warm, especially from the cooler shadow areas where the sun hadn't reached. It was a day when a large family funeral service was about to be held, with bells ringing throughout the city, in somber rythms. Even as a visitor, I felt the tempo shift ever so slightly, like the light, which plays an important role in everything here.
