Popic Vineyards, Lumbarda, Croatia

Popic Vineyard, Lumbarda, Croatia. Painted as a live demo for my 2024 workshop from the vineyards looking towards the village of Lumbarda. The wines here are made from the Grk grapes, which are totally indigenous to this part of Korcula Island - and grow nowhere else on the know planet. 

I loved how the light form the Adriatic struck the the distant village and terre of the landscape.

I gifted this painting to our tour guide, "Gabby"  Bacic, at the end of the workshop.
