Wynken at Hidden Cove, Lopez Island

This sweet little red boat moored in Hidden cove at Davis Bay caught my attention against the deep greens and dark rocks along the bay,
with strong morning back light giving a nice contrast to the whole scene. I found out later (phone call from the owner, Brian Goff) that this boat has a name "Wynken".
He also owns "Blynken and Nod" two other boats presently at Port Townsend.
Clearly his personal fleet gets their names from Eugene Field's poem "Wynken, Blynken and Nod" a fantasy about 3 children playing and floating among the stars, which was also a Walt Disney classic that debuted as a "Silly Symphony" back in 1938. I've got to see the other boats and explore more painting options with "Wynken" since it's right here on Lopez Island!
