Techniques for effectively using Hard Sticks, Soft Sticks and Pan Pastels, together with various pastel surfaces are all comprehensively covered in this workshop. Creative mark making with different pastel stroke pressures, stroke directions, color layering, blending to achieve luminosity, opacity and everything in between are demonstrated and taught in easy-to-understand ways.
