Spring Colors, Eastsound on Orcas Island

Painted in early morning light, (4/27/23) at my favoprite site above Eastsound Village on Orcas Island. These @130 year old buildings still shine like a beacon, especially at daybreak, reflecting their aura in the water. As a frequent "plein air" visitor, I was thrilled to catch the buzz on the street yesterday that a core of these waterfont buildings has been recently purchased by a famous American talk show host, actress and television producer whose aim is to physically preserve them, just as they should be!
