This page describes what information this site collects from visitors, how it is used, and who has access to it. The site is operated by Steven Hill and hosted on Fine Art Form.
What this site collects
- Newsletter subscribers. When you sign up via the footer form, this site stores your email address (and, if you provided one, your name) so the artist can email you about new work and shows.
- Contact form submissions. When you send a message through the contact form, this site stores your name, email, message, and the subject line. The Instagram handle field is optional and only stored when filled in.
- Server access logs. The hosting platform retains standard web-server logs for security monitoring and debugging. These logs include your IP address, user-agent, and referring URL, and rotate after 30 days.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages and works draw interest. GA4 is configured to drop the last octet of visitor IP addresses and to suppress collection of personal identifiers in URLs and page titles. You can opt out by enabling your browser's Do Not Track signal or installing a tracking-blocker extension.
How this information is used
Subscriber and contact data is used to deliver the artist's newsletter and respond to inquiries. There is no advertising on this site and no third-party tracking pixels beyond the analytics tag described above when it is enabled. Your data is not sold or shared with marketers.
Who has access
The artist (Steven Hill) and Fine Art Form, the platform that hosts this site, have access to the data described above. No third parties are granted access.
Retention
- Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe.
- Contact-form messages are retained while the inquiry is open.
- Server access logs rotate after 30 days.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data this site holds about you, or request its deletion, by writing through the contact form.
