About this work

The Shoal Bay Estuary in morning fog/smoke from the wild fires raging all over the western U.S. I didn't have to even think twice about the title for this painting, which comes from a song lyric in the Musical "Hair" from the late 1960's. In fact, I was humming that one as I painted this. "Hello carbon dioxide" etc., etc. Giclee prints available at $150. The original painting is in a private collection.
