Waiting, Port Stanley

Painted as an instructional demo at my January workshop at Dakota Pastels in Mt. Vernon from my reference photo taken along my favorite beach at Port Stanley on Lopez Island. I never tire of painting this area, as it always displays myriads of changing light and atmospheric moods!
