Out of Time; Place

San Luis Obispo Train Station painted en plein air during the San Luis Obispo Plein Air Invitational, October 2013. Three local poets accompanied 3 different plein air painters, as they worked for one day during the festival, with an assignment to do plein air poetry at the same site the artists' were painting. I was lucky to have Patti Sullivan come with me and pen this beautiful poem about my painting, which she titled "Not Fade Away" and is the namesake for her book of poems published later by Finishing Line Press.
