Old Marina, Havana

A plein air painting from an old boat yard marina in Havana. The docks are held together with baling wire, it appears and lots of old wood from other uses. it's what the Cubans do bet, make something out of nothing and there's a stark beauty in all the colorful old metal buildings surrounding very old boats under restoration.
