Next to Shirley's Field

One of my very first plein air pastel paintings done from the fields below Center Church, Lopez Island @ 2004. The title is an honorarium to Shirley Wright, artist friend and mentor who was laid to rest at Union Cemetery, adjacent to the church in 1996.
