Beach Bums, Port Stanley

Painted ed en plein air June 18th, along my favorite beach in the San Juan Islands, Port Stanley.

Summer fog was just forming in the distance, but my boats models were in full mid- morning light! I love how Thatcher Pass in the distance gave this composition a sense of scale and bit of mystery.
