Oyster Man

This former oyster farm on Lopez Island , is just a half mile from my home, along the spit that separates Swift Bay from Shoal Bay. I always enjoyed observing workers wading in the shallows, harvesting oysters. It's such a unique estuary, that rises and falls with the tides at Shoal Bay.
