Cojimar Village, Havana

Painted en Plein Air at Cojimar Village during my historic "Paint Cuba" plein air trip with B. Eric Rhoads, Publisher of "Plein Air Magazine" and 78 other artists from the U.S., who painted around Havana for one week. I loved how the bright morning light set this village into an almost abstract pattern of shapes and forms, punctuated by the sea rolling against the rocks. It's where Earnest Hemingway lived in Cuba.
