Lost Creek Falls

Near Anaconda, Montana. I had visited this spot 20 years ago on another painting trip and only had a drawing of these falls from that. I was very excited to find this place again with a bonus of meeting another Plein Air Painter, Scott Talman Powers at this same site. Scott had been there 3 days camping and painting when we drove up, but had a dead battery in his truck which we were able to start with jumpers. He also had a great (large) oil painting from this site to share, before he left for his drive home to Butte, Montana 

The mid day light was fast changing as the water spilled over the rocks. I feel like I captured  it!
