Davis Bay View & Olympics

Painted at my favorite hay field just below Center Church on Lopez Island  looking out over the Straits of Juan de Fuca on a gorgeous hot summer day. I loved how the light caught the small yellow flowers in the field and shimmered against the dark tree shadows and distant cool blues of the Olympic Mountains.
