Peninsula Reef Netters

These reef net boats have been put out just behind the strip of land where they're stored for decades where various "owners" of the historic reef fishing site and gear have fished for all species of salmon. They are hauled-out to live on the hard, just out of storm and tide's reach for the rest of the year. I liked the contrast of the tall ladders against the low rider style boats that support them and how they looked against the distant water and clouds, at the entrance to Fisherman Bay on Lopez Island.
