Harrison Lake BC in winter light

Painted en plein air (from my hotel room at the resort) after a late winter storm dropped a few inches. The lake creates its own weather with fog creeping through valleys and across ridges in the distant Cascade Mountains that separate this spot from total wilderness.

How I love the late afternoon sunset light playing tag along those distant crevices!
